Description

Vertical steel air receiver protected by an anti-corrosion primer and a finishing coat. It is the most economical choice when a dryer is installed before the receiver, since the air entering it is already dry. The receiver stores air to absorb consumption peaks and reduces compressor starts. Capacity: 1,000 litres. Working pressure: 13 bar. Connections to be confirmed with us when ordering.

Choosing the volume

The volume depends on the compressor's air flow, the workshop's consumption and the difference between the cut-out pressure and the cut-in pressure. An air receiver that is too small makes the compressor start too often; a larger air receiver smooths out the peaks, for example when using a blow gun or an impact wrench. Installation and inspections

Provide a drain at the lowest point, manual or automatic, and a safety valve suited to the working pressure. A compressed air receiver is pressure equipment: depending on its volume and pressure, it is subject to periodic inspections. Our guide on air receiver regulations summarises the obligations.
