Pressure sensor (electronic pressure switch) 13 bar

Description

Replacement electronic pressure sensor, also called a pressure switch, for AIRSTAHL K and S series screw compressors in the 13 bar version. It continuously measures the compressed air pressure and sends the value to the controller, which runs the compressor according to the set pressure. It comes with its cable and connector, for a 9 to 30 V supply.

Signs of a faulty sensor

• the pressure shown on the controller is wrong or unstable;
• the controller shows a pressure sensor error;
• the compressor no longer builds pressure, or no longer stops at the set pressure.

Choosing the right version

Choose the version that matches your compressor's pressure: 8, 10 or 13 bar. It is shown on the rating plate. If in doubt, send us the machine's serial number.

Replacement

With the machine stopped, locked out and depressurised, unscrew the old sensor, fit the new one with a suitable thread sealant, then reconnect the connector. Restart and check the pressure shown on the controller.
