Maintenance and inspections
Compressor maintenance, repair and inspections
A well-maintained compressor runs longer and uses less energy. We help you plan the maintenance of your machines and the periodic inspections of your pressure equipment.
Planned maintenance
Services follow the machine's hour meter: filters, oil, separator. Our maintenance kits group the right parts for each model.
Service kitsAnnual maintenance package
An annual package, on quotation: we schedule services according to your machines' running hours, so none gets forgotten.
Regulatory inspections
Compressed-air receivers are pressure equipment. Depending on their volume and pressure, they are subject to periodic inspections and requalifications.
Fast breakdown support across the UK
If anything goes wrong, our technicians in the UK come on site or we offer a suitable solution as quickly as possible: repair, part shipped from England or a hire compressor in the meantime.
Regulatory inspections
Periodic inspections: a network of partners
Inspections of air receivers are carried out by approved inspection bodies. List your equipment in the form and we will point you in the right direction.
Why maintain and inspect
- Avoid the workshop stopping at the worst moment.
- Keep electricity consumption under control: a clogged machine works harder for the same flow.
- Meet warranty conditions and regulatory obligations.
- Preserve the value of the machine with an up-to-date maintenance log.
Frequently asked questions
When should a screw compressor be serviced?
Screw compressor maintenance follows the hour meter. On our screw compressors, the first service is due at 500 hours, then every 1,500 hours: oil change, oil filter, air filter and a check of the air/oil separator. Between services, drain the condensate and keep an eye on the oil level. The machine's manual always prevails.
Do you repair screw compressors?
Yes. In the event of a breakdown, our technicians in the UK come on site or we offer a suitable solution as quickly as possible: repair, part shipped from England or a hire compressor in the meantime. Contact us through the form on this page or on WhatsApp.
How do I maintain a piston air compressor?
A piston compressor needs little, but regularly: drain the tank, check the oil level every week, clean or replace the air filter, check the belt tension and test the safety valve. Change the oil at the intervals in the manual, and at least once a year even if the compressor is rarely used.
Which oil should I use in a compressor?
A dedicated compressor oil, never engine oil. The most common grade is ISO VG 46 for a screw compressor and ISO VG 100 for a piston compressor, but the machine's manual sets the grade. Always top up with the same oil as the one already in the machine.
Do you service compressors on site?
Yes. Our technicians and partner dealers work on site for maintenance, repairs, installation and compressed air audits. Give your address and your machines in the request.
How much does compressor maintenance cost?
Each service is quoted individually, based on the model, the number of machines and their running hours. The annual service plan is also quoted on request: we schedule the services so that none is missed.
Does my compressor's air receiver need inspecting?
Air receivers are pressure equipment. Depending on their volume and pressure, they are subject to periodic inspections and requalifications carried out by approved inspection bodies.
