Compressed air calculators
Compressor electricity cost, cost of leaks, receiver size, unit conversion: free tools to size and control your compressed air.
What are these calculators for?
Compressed air is one of the most expensive forms of energy in a workshop. A large part of its cost comes from the electricity consumed by the compressor, and a significant share of that air is often lost through leaks. These tools help you put a figure on these costs and size your installation before you buy.
- Electricity cost: estimate what your compressor costs you per year according to its power, its running hours and your price per kWh.
- Leak cost: measure the money lost through a leak according to its size and the network pressure.
- Receiver size: find the receiver volume suited to your air flow and your consumption.
- Converter: switch from one unit of air flow or pressure to another (m³/min, l/min, cfm, bar, psi).
How to use the results?
The results are estimates, calculated with the standard compressed air formulas. They give a reliable order of magnitude for comparing options. For final sizing, send us your results with your quote request: we check them against the actual specifications of the machines.
