Compressor for agriculture
Air compressor for farms: tractor tyre inflation, greasing, cleaning machinery, pneumatic tools. 2-year warranty, 15-year parts availability.
On a farm, the compressor works in the workshop as well as the shed: inflating tractor and trailer tyres, loosening wheel nuts, blowing out radiators and machine filters, greasing, and cleaning equipment before the season.
What matters on a farm
- Air reserve to inflate large tyres without waiting.
- A robust machine that copes with dust and an unheated room.
- Simple maintenance you can do yourself.
- A tank-mounted unit, ready to plug in in the shed.
Which compressor for a farm? The E Series
E Series tank-mounted piston compressors suit this intermittent use: air is used heavily for a while, then the machine rests. The E 75 suits most farms; the E 110 gives more reserve for large tyres and tools at several stations. If air runs much of the day, for example in a machinery repair workshop, the S 55 screw compressor is a better fit.
A tip for cold rooms
In an unheated shed, drain the tank every day and protect the compressor from frost: frozen condensate can block the drain and the pipes.

Which air compressor for a farm?
For intermittent use (tyre inflation, blowing, greasing, air tools), a tank-mounted piston compressor is suitable: the E 75 covers most farms, and the E 110 provides more reserve. If air is used for much of the day, for example in a machinery repair workshop, the S 55 screw compressor is better suited.
How do I inflate tractor tyres with an air compressor?
Large agricultural tyres need a large volume of air: a good reserve in the air receiver avoids waiting during inflation. Follow the pressure recommended by the tyre manufacturer for the use and load, and use a tyre inflator with a pressure gauge. The E 110 piston compressor is the choice for large tyre inflation.
Can I leave an air compressor in an unheated barn?
Yes, provided you protect it from frost and drain the air receiver every day. Condensation water that freezes can block the drain and the pipework. Keep the machine sheltered from the weather, in a ventilated place that is as dust-free as possible.
What size air tank do I need for a farm compressor?
A larger air receiver provides a reserve for large tyre inflation and tools used in bursts, and lets the motor rest between cycles. The right volume depends on your tools and the number of people using them at the same time. The air receiver size calculator on our website gives you an estimate based on these factors.
Can I use an air compressor to blow out radiators and filters on farm machinery?
It is one of the most common uses on a farm: a blow gun uses around 150 l/min, intermittently. Any tank-mounted compressor in the E series is suitable for this use. Wear safety glasses and blow filters from the inside out, following the machine manufacturer's recommendations.
How do I maintain a farm air compressor?
Simple maintenance you can do yourself: drain the air receiver daily, check the oil level, and clean or replace the intake filter, more often in a dusty building. Follow the intervals given in the manual (in French). Carry out a full service before the season so you are not caught out at the wrong moment.
