Description

At the heart of the machine is a high-efficiency screw air-end in direct drive from a rare-earth permanent magnet motor (insulation class F). It starts through a variable frequency drive: no current surge on your electrical installation. An electronic controller with display constantly monitors pressure, temperature and running hours, and protects the machine if anything goes wrong. You set the working pressure: the compressor builds up to that value, stops on its own, then restarts automatically as soon as the pressure drops below the set threshold.

  • Air-cooled; compressed air at most 15 °C above ambient temperature, oil content 3 to 5 ppm.
  • Compact footprint (750 × 550 × 750 mm, 98 kg): it fits in a small workshop.
  • Standard wear parts (filters, oil, separator): maintenance stays simple and affordable.
  • Every machine is checked and tested before shipping.

Frequently asked questions

Can a screw compressor run all day?

Yes. Compression by two rotating screws is continuous: a screw compressor is designed for continuous operation, unlike a piston compressor, which needs rest periods.

Are your screw compressors supplied with an air receiver?

The K series 4-in-1 compressors (7.5, 11 and 15 kW) include the air receiver, refrigerated dryer and filtration. The S series stand-alone screw compressors (5.5 to 132 kW) are supplied without receiver or dryer, to be added to your network. We can quote the complete set-up.

When is the first service due?

The first service comes early, to remove running-in residues: at 500 hours, then every 1,500 hours. The machine's controller displays the reminder, and the intervals are in the manual.

Who installs and services the compressor in the UK?

Our technicians and dealers in the UK, Scotland included, install and commission AIRSTAHL compressors, carry out servicing and handle repairs. Spare parts ship from our stock in England to England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

What is the warranty?

AIRSTAHL compressors come with a 2-year warranty. Spare parts remain available for 15 years, with stock in England.
