Description
Horizontal compressed air receiver, to store air when ceiling height or floor space is limited.
When to choose a horizontal receiver?
It fits under a workbench, on a mezzanine or in a plant room with a low ceiling. Some compressors mount directly on top of it to form a compact unit.
Its role in the installation
Like any receiver, it absorbs consumption peaks, stabilises the pressure and limits compressor starts. The air cools down in it and some of the water settles: provide a drain, manual or automatic, at the lowest point.

Painted or galvanised?
The painted steel version is suitable when a dryer is installed upstream. Without a dryer, in a damp room or outdoors, the galvanised version resists corrosion better. Specify the finish in your quote request.
