Description
Compressed air pressure gauge, to read the pressure at the receiver outlet, on a filter or near a workstation.
What is it for?
Comparing the pressure at the compressor outlet with the pressure at the workstation lets you spot a pressure loss: a leak, a dirty filter or a hose that is too narrow. It is often the first thing to check when a tool lacks power.
How to choose it?
The scale must cover the working pressure with a margin: a compressor set to 10 bar needs a dial that goes higher. Also check the dial diameter for readability and the connection thread. Scale, diameter and thread to be specified in your quote request.
Where to fit it?
A pressure gauge at the air receiver outlet shows the pressure produced. A second one, at the end of the network or on the furthest workstation, shows the pressure actually available. If the difference exceeds a few tenths of a bar at full consumption, look for a leak, a clogged filter or an undersized hose.
