Description
Filter element fitted at the intake: it protects the screw element from dust. Check it regularly and replace it at every service, more often in a dusty workshop.
Why does it matter?
A dirty air filter restricts the intake: the compressor produces less air for the same electricity consumption and runs hotter. A damaged filter, on the other hand, lets in dust that wears the screw and contaminates the oil.
In joinery shops or body shops, where the air is dusty, more frequent checks are recommended. The service kit for your model groups this filter with the other service parts.
Choosing the right part number
The air filter must match your compressor's intake housing exactly to ensure a tight seal. The product sheet lists the compatible models; if in doubt, send the serial number of your machine.
