Oil filter for screw compressor

Description

Spin-on filter cartridge that traps impurities in the lubricating oil. It is replaced at every service, together with the oil.

Why change it on time?

A clogged cartridge lets less oil through, or forces it to bypass the filter: the screw element and its bearings are then less well protected and the machine runs hotter. On AIRSTAHL screw compressors, the first service is due at 500 hours, then every 1,500 hours.

Choosing the right part number

The oil filter must match the compressor model exactly: an unsuitable filter may let impurities through or fail to withstand the circuit pressure. The product sheet lists the compatible models; if in doubt, send the serial number of your machine.
