Screw compressor hire in Edinburgh

Temporary air needs are part of working life in Edinburgh. A bottling line near Leith runs harder ahead of the Christmas trade. A printer at Sighthill replaces its old compressor and needs air during the changeover. A contractor working on a refurbishment in the city centre needs air for a few weeks. In each case, hire avoids buying a machine for a need that will not last.

What the hire includes

Our compressor hire service covers screw compressors from 5.5 to 132 kW. The hire includes:

• sizing based on how much air you really use;
• a machine suited to your pressure and running hours;
• installation and commissioning by our technicians and dealers in the UK;
• full maintenance, with servicing and parts included;
• no minimum term: you return the machine whenever you wish.

Hire starts from £15 excl. VAT per kW per week. For availability in Edinburgh, tell us your needs and we come back to you fast with a written quote.

Short or long term hire

For a seasonal peak or a planned shutdown, a few weeks is often enough: a compressor from the S series keeps the air flowing while the work is done. For longer needs, such as launching a new product line or waiting for a purchase decision, the hire can run for several months at a rate agreed in advance. For sites that change location, such as building and refurbishment work, the mobile compressors of the M series follow your team. If your air use is occasional, look at piston compressor hire in Edinburgh.
