Screw compressor hire in Sheffield
Screw compressor hire in Sheffield and South Yorkshire: 5.5 to 132 kW, maintenance included, no minimum term. From £15 excl. VAT per kW per week.
In Sheffield's heavy industry, temporary air needs come up often. A forge in the Lower Don Valley stops for its summer maintenance and still needs air for the works. A fabricator in Attercliffe wins a large contract and adds a night shift for a few months. A machine shop near Meadowhall moves into a new unit and needs air before its own compressor is installed. Hire covers each of these without a large capital outlay.
What the hire includes
Our compressor hire service covers screw compressors from 5.5 to 132 kW. The hire includes:
- sizing based on your real air demand and working pressure;
- a machine chosen for your running hours;
- installation and commissioning by our technicians and dealers in the UK;
- full maintenance, with servicing and parts included;
- no minimum term: you send the machine back when you are done.
Hire starts from £15 excl. VAT per kW per week. Ask us about availability in Sheffield: we reply quickly with a written quote.
Short or long term hire
A few weeks is enough to cover a shutdown, a furnace reline or a peak in orders: a compressor from the S series takes over in the meantime. For longer needs, such as ramping up a new line or waiting for a budget to be approved, the hire can run for several months at a rate agreed in advance. For work on several sites, the mobile compressors in the M series move with your team. For tools used only at intervals, see piston compressor hire in Sheffield.
